About

Welcome to Sullivan's Workshop. My name is David Sullivan. You are observing the result of a life long passion for fixing and restoring just about anything coupled with my other passion of woodworking. From the time I started taking things apart as a child as well as building things in 7th grade wood shop class, my passion and skills have developed into the business you see 30+ years later.

The many types of projects I have tackled include everything from polishing antique baby spoons to totally rebuilding and restoring large antiques. Due to many requests for custom furniture, I have also incorporated custom woodworking into the business. Is your project beat up, missing parts or rescued from the trash? The rougher it comes in to the shop the more enthused I am to work on it. Maybe your project needs a delicate touch or minor repair? Those projects are welcome also.

The woodworking projects I have done consists of the large complicated to the small and simple. I have had people draw up their own ideas or find pictures of what they want on the internet. My experience in drafting has come in handy when drawing up my own plans or refining the ideas of my clients. Again, I love that challenge. My years of restoring antiques has given me a unique insight as to how craftsman used to build furniture which I use when constructing new ones.

Thanks for stopping by and questions are always welcome.
